The brief
A private residence needing a refined, durable wood floor across the principal rooms.
The challenge
Long sightlines and daylight expose any imperfection; the pattern must run true across rooms and thresholds.
Our work
Specified engineered oak for climate stability, DIN-standard subfloor prep, laid herringbone by hand with laser-guided setting-out.
The result
The chevron holds its line down the full length of the principal rooms, where a drift of even a few millimetres would have opened a visible wedge at the far wall.
