The brief
A café that needed a warm, light floor — and needed it laid fast, because every day before opening is a day not trading.
The challenge
F&B is the hardest test a floor takes: spills, dragged chairs and constant footfall, all day, in a space where the floor is on show in every seat.
Our work
A light-oak floor specified for wear and moisture rather than looks alone, laid to a fit-out programme built around the opening date.
The result
Laid to the opening date. It takes spills, dragged chairs and all-day footfall, and still reads bright from every seat in the room.
