Interior and outdoor decking for a waterfront restaurant.

02 —How it was done
A waterfront restaurant needing one material language to run from the interior straight out onto an exposed deck.
Sun, salt air and water rule out most timber outdoors — but the deck still had to match the warmth of the floor inside, with no visible break at the threshold.
Weather-ready decking specified for UV and moisture on the exterior, tuned to the interior floor so the two read as one surface across the threshold.
One surface from the table to the water, with no visible break at the threshold — and a deck specified to survive sun, salt and standing water.
